Sara Tasha (b. Singapore, 2002) is a visual artist whose practice explores the emotional and psychological experiences of womanhood. Influenced by energy shifts through interaction, communication, and touch, her work navigates themes of misogyny, faith, doubt, culture, and the everyday influence of popular media. Through painting, she reflects on the tension between personal identity and external pressures such as religion, digital culture, and inherited values, translating inner conflict into gestural, abstract mark-making.

Her practice often takes on a diaristic form, embracing vulnerability, femininity, and playfulness. Drawing from a feminine, childlike visual language, Sara creates spaces that hold both softness and discomfort.

She recently received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (First Class Honours) from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore in 2025. She was a recipient of the Anugerah Mendaki Award (2023) and has exhibited her work in several shows across Singapore.

Outside of her studio practice, she is interested in curatorial work, community engagement, and art therapy. She has interned at NUS Museum, 39+ Art Space, and Critical Craft Collective, supporting research, programming, and collaborative projects.
